The design goal for this project at the Pittman Hotel was to transform a previously unused retail shell into a sophisticated, multi-functional conference center that reflects the elevated aesthetic and historical character of Deep Ellum. Taking inspiration from the hotel’s iconic lobby, the new conference center was designed to seamlessly extend the guest experience into a dynamic, flexible space suited for high-end events, business conferences, and social gatherings. Custom millwork, plush materials, and integrated AV capabilities were included to elevate functionality while preserving a hospitality atmosphere. The result is a timeless and versatile event space that not only supports The Pittman's operational goals but also enhances its position as a cultural and social hub in the city.
